for Students Kindergarten through Fifth Grade
DayCamp is a Christian education program offered in partnership with Lutheridge Bible Camp in Arden, NC. Lutheridge brings camp to us! This is a great opportunity for students to have elements of a Bible camp experience right here at Augsburg. All Kindergarten through Fifth Grade students are invited to attend DayCamp.
DayCamp is staffed with college-age staff from Lutheridge, trained in youth ministry, who will act as counselors for each grade level. Counselors will lead programming while a few volunteers from Augsburg help facilitate snacks and lunches.Our students will be involved in Bible studies, recreation, small groups, worship, crafts, games, and service projects. This week will be an outstanding week-long experience! The daily schedule for Monday through Thursday will be from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., and Friday from 9:00 a.m. to noon. Campers attending DayCamp will need to pack a lunch and bring a water bottle each day during the week. DayCamp will end before lunch on Friday.
