Family Life
Family Life is the most vibrant and exciting ministry at Augsburg, at least according to our committee members! We have the awesome challenge of planning events for the entire church body, from youngest to oldest.
*Fellowship breakfasts every Sunday morning after the 8:30 service
*Augsburg Daytrippers- activities for older adults
*All church luncheons
*Annual congregational picnic
*Dinners for six
*Book Club
*Bridge Club
*Annual Christmas Angel tree for needy families
Senior Ministry
Some of the events we sponsor include daytrips and other gatherings for the senior members of the congregation. The seniors are an energetic and enthusiastic group that loves to travel.
Seasons of the Church Year
We sponsor events to celebrate the seasons of the Church year: Advent, Christmas, Lent, and Easter and Pentecost. We celebrate with plays, festivals, and of course, lots of food!
Sports Ministry
Family Life Committee sponsors softball and volleyball teams, fellowship breakfasts, family movie night, parent’s night out, dinner clubs, and book clubs.
